Membership rules

1. You need to sign up by e-mailing Tanja (proproduceclub@hotmail.com) and then pay your membership fee and the first payment for the first 4-week period. Membership fee for a winter is $3 which pays for some state of MN paperwork and keeping an account and checkbook and some possible operational costs.

2. One weekly share costs $17.50 and the monthly amount due is $70. This amount needs to be paid at the beginning of each new 4-week period. Checks are payable to the Park Rapids Organic Produce Club and can be dropped off at Itasca Naturopathic Clinic on Highway 34 or given to Tanja.

3. As a member you initially commit to buying your share monthly for the first 8 weeks with a termination policy of 2 weeks, i.e. if you want to be done at the end of the 8 weeks you need to let us know after 6 weeks so we can try to replace you otherwise the club cannot order again. Ideally we want to keep you as a member until the first farmer's market produce shows up locally which is about May.

4. If you cannot take your share for a given week there are no refunds. You are responsible for finding someone else to take and pay for your share or just donate your share to the group. You can check with Tanja. She currently has two people on the list that would be interested in occasionally taking over a share for you.

5. For the Wednesday group the produce is picked up at J&B on Wednesday mornings and brought to Itasca Naturopathic Clinic where you can pick up your share during office hours (9-5) or by making other arrangements with Dr. Oppitz. For the Monday group the produce will be picked up Monday morning and brought to Faith Baptist Church (South Parking lot/South Door) where it will be available for pick-up between 9:45 am and 2:30 pm. The produce will not be refrigerated after pick-up from J&B.

6. You are responsible for bringing your own container to put your produce in, since you will need to pick out one unit out of each case to make up your share.
